Idea from an agent author

Thanks Martin!

Good Morning:
As a new agent I have read many a book, listened to many a tape, attended multiple seminars, read thousands of real estate guru's websites.  One of the most over looked areas in real estate sales is continued contact with clients.  And one of the best ways to reinforce your name is not through a closing gift that is never seen, again.  So I take my knowledge of my clients interests, and use it to my benefit.
For example:  I just closed a small deal on a century home, that was in very poor shape, extremely in need of clean up, and total disrepair.  My clients loved the house and were undaunted by the work involved, to bring this diamond in the ruff, back up to snuff.        My closing gift was a well written thank you letter accompanied with a branded and personalized coupon book with $2500. valueable coupons inside.  Then I purchased a branded/personalized with my name, home Journal, and a thick hard cover, coffee table book with tons of pictures and ideas, of Century Homes. Wrapped them together as one gift, and presented it to the new owners. In addition I pre-purchased a monthly subscription to two old home magazines that will arrive with my name on them, each and every month for one year. Now the home owners loved the gifts, loved the coffee table book and home journal, and now they sit on the coffee table for friends, family and neighbors to see, both, with my name in full view.  I can't wait to see their reaction from the magazines!
